The MIL-STD-1553 databus is one of Greenwoods’ strengths and the hardware (bus couplers, connectors, terminators, etc) is generally available from stock. Military applications include vehicles, ships, and aircraft, plus the ground support test rig components.

As part of our longstanding representation of Trompeter Electronics Inc of the USA, Greenwoods’ offers a full range of connector products for the military and industrial markets, where high performance and reliability are key requirements. These connector products include Twinax and Triax connectors for military and medical applications, and high frequency PCB connectors for SD Video and HDTV broadcast products.

We carry the largest stock profile of Trompeter parts in Europe; in fact we believe that we probably have the widest range of Trompeter products worldwide, the Trompeter factory excepted. Greenwoods’ represents the Goot range of soldering products in the UK. Goot’s range includes soldering irons, soldering stations, solder pots and accessories, all designed for the new ‘lead-free’ environment.
